It is essential that every new and existing water installation meets strict hygiene standards – and failure to comply can result in customer complaints and additional costs incurred.

Our full range of services covers everything from chlorination to swabbing, so that your water networks are safe and compliant.

Chlorination

Chlorination plays a vital part in water hygiene, and all new mains require chlorination and sampling before they are connected. We can chlorinate any size main or installation, whether it is internal or external.

Using the latest equipment we can accurately chlorinate your supply or tank to a pre-determined dosage, preventing back-flow contamination at the same time. We minimise disruption by identifying the best chlorination technique for you, while making sure your system and supply comply with Drinking Water Inspectorate regulations. We will also provide you with method statements and risk assessments.

Water Tank Cleaning

When cleaning tanks, we understand the importance of continuity of supply, so we make sure that your customers experience little or no disruption to their supply. We will keep you and your staff informed at all times, providing method statements and risk assessments, and maintaining exceptional levels of water hygiene.

Pressure Testing

As water companies are increasingly under pressure to reduce leaks, it's never been so important to make sure mains are watertight. So if you are laying new mains, testing its integrity is a vital part of the process.

Using WRc guidelines and manufacturer specifications, we can rigorously pressure test your pipes, whatever material they are made of, as well as your new main fittings and joints.

Our testing procedures are thorough. All tests are monitored and recorded on-site, and you'll be presented with a report
of the results at the end.

Flushing

We have the equipment and experience to run the whole process of small or large flushing programmes from start to finish. Discoloured or dirty water generates the most number of complaints for any water company and can lead to regulatory concerns. Caused by ageing networks of unlined metallic mains, the most effective way of removing these iron deposits is to flush the system. Flushing is simple, easy and effective – we won't need physical access to the mains and we use digital flow gauges to record the water flow and identify leaks.

Scouring and Swabbing

For modern mains made of PVC or Polyethylene, removing iron deposits can be problematic. Where flushing isn't effective, we use the most appropriate method for the job. Using specialised equipment, we can scour the worst affected mains with water or air, or use swabbing to physically clean the mains under water pressure. Either way, we'll always find a solution to suit your needs.

Sampling

When you're dealing with a mains water supply, analysing samples of the water on installation and periodically is an essential part of the process. We offer a complete sampling service, testing for the full range of regulatory requirements, whether you need a standard suite of samples or have a specific request.

We use recognised techniques, and standard sampling taps and equipment, so we guarantee that installations will comply with statutory regulations. All samples are also analysed at professionally accredited laboratories.

Water Saving Devices

Installing water saving devices makes financial sense. We can advise on water saving solutions for your business, and our plumbers can install and maintain devices like toilet flush products and water saving shower heads.
